Just when you are getting into a rhythm, you little one gets sick and the domino effect kicks in. This is coming from a week that I recently had when my daughter was home sick from school for the third time since school started in September and things just didn’t go as planned. There were many emotions I experienced throughout the week that reminded me to surrender in that moment and just be. I resisted at first, but the more I did, the worse it got. As parents, we are faced with challenges on a regular basis. Incorporating ways to support ourselves through these times make the even the toughest of times run a little more smoother.
